  • September 16, 2015 - The Health Care Planning and Accountability Advisory Counsel release of the Truven Report.  In March, 2014, Rhode Island issued an RFP to develop a detailed report on Rhode Islander's experience with behavioral health (BH). The Report was to describe BH demand/need, spending on BH services, supply of BH services, and indirect costs of BH disorders to the state. The report was also to be stratified by age categories and provide recommended policy and system innovation for Rhode Island. Attached are the demand,  spending, supply and final report summarizing the findings and final recommendations.
  • August 7, 2015 - Changes to Healthsource RI Walk-in Center Services. The contact center at 70 Royal Little Drive in Providence is no longer providing in-person assistance for customers who need help enrolling in health coverage, including Medicaid. The center will continue to take calls and accept drop-off deliveries of documents needed to enroll in coverage and make payments on coverage. There are other places you can go for in-person support.   • July 30, 2015 - CMS Press Release on Integrated Care Initiative, Phase 2. CMS and the State of Rhode Island have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that provides details on Rhode Island's Financial Alignment Demonstration or the Integrated Care Initiative, Phase 2.  For a copy of the CMS press release and MOU, see News and Updates.
