Medicaid LOC and Core and Preventive Services

The care needs of people determine what types of Medicaid funded services they qualify to receive and in what setting.  The chart below shows the scope and type of service setting available based on level of care needs.

Once determined eligible for Medicaid LTSS, a person is qualified to receive any of the following mix of services they need. Certain Medicaid enrolled elders and adults with disabilities at risk for LTSS may be eligible for LTSS preventive services only.
